Ms. Bee's Traveling Bus with PJ Kids - Overview

Sharnee Brown who is also known as (Ms Bee) is recognized for excelling in her favorite place during her childhood: school. It’s no surprise that she majored in English and secondary education which led her to her long time teaching career. Her advocacy for excellence and education drove her to achieve a Bachelors of Science in education and a Masters in Educational Administration.

Sharnee has been deeply inspired by the social programs of the 70’s and deeply impacted by those supportive adults – parents, grandparents, and teachers – around her; she learned to value community at a young age and was motivated to share the goodwill and the exposure she had received with the children she encountered.

She has a passion for serving the community and is committed to search for new ideas to keep children excited about education. Sharnee recognizes the real need for encouragement and affirmation of children.

The idea of her becoming the character Ms Bee was prompted through a combined effort of her parents and herself. Their gift of music and her passion for educating youth was a synergistic union and from that the character, Ms. Bee was born.

Bees have a special role in nature to assist flowers with their growth. Ms. Bee’s flowers are our children and her charge is to motivate our children and inspire then to embrace education, which is necessary for their growth.
